Accurate RGB values are obtained for each pixel using prism spectroscopy. For inspections in semiconductors, displays, food, and other areas where high color accuracy is required.
Are you struggling with judgment errors caused by color interpolation in Bayer cameras in the fields of display, semiconductor wafers, MLCC, pharmaceuticals, food, and print inspection?
The Apex Series 'AP-5100T' is a 3CMOS area scan camera that spectrally separates incident light into three wavelengths—red, green, and blue—using a prism, and captures images simultaneously with three independent CMOS sensors. It can accurately obtain RGB values for each pixel, fundamentally eliminating color crosstalk and false colors. Subtle color tone differences and low-contrast defects can also be captured as they are.
It supports simultaneous use of different wavelength lighting (bright field, dark field, backlight, etc.) and achieves inspection throughput equivalent to multiple processes with a single unit. It is ideal for advanced color machine vision applications where color accuracy affects quality, such as quality assessment of semiconductors, MLCC, displays, eggs, and fruits, tablet coating inspection, and print registration inspection.
